Henri Michaux says, “to create a being, one must create a situation.” In this exhibition, I present a small group of paintings on glass of varying dimensions. The scale, temperature, and consistency of the material – glass – dictate the visual rhythm between the paintings, and in each one, this rhythm emerges from the insistent composition of certain geometric forms that can also be found in Indian Tantra drawings and El Lissitzky's posters.
