By pressing an object against a surface and removing the air that separates them, we force their contact and establish a similarity. As a result of this action, it is possible for aluminum foil to break free from its usual function and transform into a surface capable of receiving an image. Allowing wood particles to settle on an object, fixing them, and repeating the process makes it possible to create a new body, dense and compact. All these processes of constructing images and objects have a common denominator: direct contact with a material capable of giving them shape and content, without disregarding their uniqueness.
